Lifeline Robotics was founded in 2020 in close collaboration with a team of the best robotics researchers from the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, a city home to one of the world’s leading robotics clusters.
The robot was developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic with the fundamental idea of optimizing and standardizing throat swab testing as to relieve the pressure on health care workers and make swab testing easy, accessible and reliable.
We aim to shield the frontline healthcare workers from the danger of respiratory communicable diseases through an automatic standardized sampling method.
We aim to develop new technological countermeasures to improve global health security and minimize the risk of potential pandemics.
The day-to-day team consist of three dedicated employees.
